The Foothills Rails to Trails Coalition is the non-profit behind the beautiful paved trail that connects the scenic towns of Washington. Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Mount Rainier, runners get to enjoy blue skies, mountain views, and the cool river for a day of running fun with friends. Runners will enjoy a fast course from Orting to South Prairie, and turn for a fast downhill return to Orting. No bus rides means more time to enjoy friends and cheer for other runners!

We often like to bring ice cream or popsicles to the finish to top off a great day of sunshine and running!
